  • This product comes with a charging cable, but without an adapter. The charging cable has a pogo pin connection. Make sure to use a 5 Volts 2 Amp charger. Using a different power adapter may cause irreparable damage to the luminaire.
  • First charge must be a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Do full charges so as not to shorten the life of the battery. The battery is full when the red indicator light stops flashing.
  • Clean carefully with a dampened soft cloth, adding a little soap only if necessary. Do not use any cleaning materials containing harsh chemicals.
  • Treat your Bellboy like regular lighting and store it indoors when it rains or is not used.
  • Do not store in winter in an unheated space. During the off-season, or if you are not using your light for an extended period of time, do a recharge every three months to keep the battery active.

    How to clean the Bellboy?

    To clean the Bellboy, use a soft cloth, preferably dry or, if needed, moistened with lukewarm water and mild liquid soap. Please be gentle to avoid any scratching. Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive substances. Never open the Bellboy when cleaning.

    My Bellboy lamp has fallen, what should I do?

    When the lampshade has fallen off your Bellboy: Please put the shade back on by turning it clockwise until you hear a “click”.

    A rattling sound is coming from the inside of the Bellboy’s lampshade: A strong impact might have caused the batteries to disconnect from the battery seat. Please remove the shade by rotating it counterclockwise and take it off. The power board contains two battery covers. Check if those are still in position, as well as the batteries. Put them back into position if needed, matching the +/- on the battery with the +/- on the power board. Replace the battery covers and the shade. After a battery has been re-installed, perform a quick reset by connecting the charger for about 10 seconds. The lamp should be fully operational again.

    How long does my Bellboy stay on?

    A fully charged Bellboy lamp remains lit for more than 3 hours at 100% brightness and up to 9 hours at the lowest brightness setting. Please use a 5V 2A adapter to charge Bellboy.

    How to turn Bellboy on/off?

    You can turn the Bellboy on/off with the touch switch on top of the shade. Tap once to turn on; tap again to turn off.

    How does the dimming of the Bellboy work?

    Bellboy contains a stepless dimmer. The button on top of the lampshade is a touch switch. Gently touch to turn the lamp on/off. Press and hold to adjust brightness; it will loop up and down and lock at the level when you release.

    What kind of charger should I use for my Bellboy?

    Use a 5V 2A charger for your Bellboy to ensure efficient charging and extend battery life.

    Is my Bellboy lamp suitable for fast charging?

    No. Bellboy is not designed for fast charging. Only use the charger specified in the instruction manual. Using a fast charger or higher-output charger may damage the battery or shorten the lamp’s lifespan.

    Can I keep my Bellboy connected to the power at all times?

    It is possible to keep your Bellboy connected to power, although it’s recommended to discharge the battery from time to time.

    A green light is blinking when I try to operate my Bellboy?

    The green blinking may indicate the battery has been disconnected. Try resetting Bellboy by connecting it to the charger for about 10 seconds.
