  • This product comes with a charging cable, but without an adapter. The charging cable has a USB connection. Make sure you use an Adapter max. 5 Volts 1 Amp. Using a different power adapter may cause irreparable damage to the luminaire.
  • First charge must be a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Do full charges so as not to shorten the life of the battery. The battery is full when the red indicator light stops flashing.
  • Light source not replaceable.
  • Clean carefully with a dampened soft cloth, adding a little soap only if necessary. Do not use any cleaning materials containing harsh chemicals.
  • Treat your Transloetje like regular lighting and store it indoors when it rains or is not used.
  • Do not store in winter in an unheated space. During the off-season, or if you are not using your light for an extended period of time, do a recharge every three months to keep the battery active.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Can I use Transloetje outdoors?

    The Transloetje is an indoor product, but can be used outdoors in dry weather.

    However, we recommend to take the Transloetje indoors, immediately after use. The Transloetje is not waterproof and if the lamp receives a rain shower, it may occur that the water enters the lamp.

    How to clean the Transloetje lamp?

    It is best to clean the Transloetje carefully with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. If you want to use soap, make sure it's a neutral soap. Transloetje doesn't like cleaners with chemicals or bleach. And never open the lamp while cleaning it!

    How to turn the Transloetje on?

    To switch on the Transloetje, touch the base of the lamp, right above the grey box, this is the part with the arrow on it. The brightness of the Transloetje can be adjusted in three modes.

    How long will the Transloetje last after charging?

    The Transloetje can burn in the first light mode for approx. 20 hours, in the second light mode for about 15 hours and in the third and brightest light, for about 9 hours.

    Be sure to unplug the Transloetje after charging the lamp from the charger. Turning on the lamp while charging it, is not good for the battery. The light will eventually get lazy and will no longer charge properly.

    My Transloetje is flashing! What can I do?

    This isn't disco mode, just an indication that the battery of the Transloetje is almost empty. Charge it and the lamp will work again.

    What kind of charger should I use for my Transloetje?

    We recommend to use a 5V 1amp charger for your Transloetje to guarantee the most efficient charging procedure and to extend the lifecycle of the batteries.
