  • This product comes with a charging cable, but without an adapter. The charging cable has a USB connection. Make sure you use an Adapter max. 5 Volts 1 Amp. Using a different power adapter may cause irreparable damage to the luminaire.
  • First charge must be a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Do full charges so as not to shorten the life of the battery. The battery is full when the red indicator light stops flashing.
  • Clean carefully with a dampened soft cloth, adding a little soap only if necessary. Do not use any cleaning materials containing harsh chemicals.
  • Treat your Edison the Petit like regular lighting and store it indoors when it rains or is not used.
  • Do not store in winter in an unheated space. During the off-season, or if you are not using your light for an extended period of time, do a recharge every three months to keep the battery active.

    Can I use Edison the Petit lamp outdoors?

    The Edison the Petit is an indoor product, but can be used outdoors in dry weather.

    However, we recommend to take the Edison the Petit LED lamp indoors, immediately after use. The Edison the Petit is not waterproof and if the lamp receives a rain shower, it may occur that the water enters the lamp.

    How to clean the Edison the Petit lamp?

    It is best to clean the Edison the Petit carefully with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. If you want to use soap, make sure it’s a neutral soap. Edison the Petit doesn't like cleaners with chemicals or bleach. And never open the lamp while cleaning it!

    How does the battery of my Edison the Petit work?

    If this is your first time using Edison the Petit, it should charge for at 8 hours. Afterwards, 3 hours is enough. When you connect the Edison the Petit to the charger, a red light starts to blink. As soon as the battery is sufficiently charged, the red light lights up continuously.

    What kind of charger should I use for my Edison the Petit?

    We recommend to use a 5V 1amp charger for your Edison the Petit to guarantee the most efficient charging procedure and to extend the lifecycle of the batteries.

    My Edison the Petit lamp is flashing! What can I do?

    This isn't disco mode, just an indication that the battery of the Edison the Petit is almost empty. Charge it and the lamp will work again.

    How many light settings does the Edison the Petit have?

    The number of light settings depends on the batch number:

    Batch numbers starting with 100: Three light settings

    Batch numbers starting with 200: Continuous dimming

    You can find the batch number on the bottom of the lamp.

    Help my Edison the Petit will not turn on?

    Our Edison the Petit was renewed some time ago and no longer has the lighting in three dimmable phases but is now steplessly dimmable. Pull the red Fatboy label and hold it tightly for 10 seconds. The light now changes from high to low in brightness. If you release the red Fatboy label again, it will remember this light intensity. If you then briefly pull the red label, it will switch on at that light setting.

    The outside of the Edison the Petit is made of polypropylene. The inside of the Edison the Petit has an ABS base plate with LED housing.
