  • This product comes with a charging cable, but without an adapter. The charging cable has a pogo pin connection. Make sure to use a 5 Volts 2 Amp charger. Using a different power adapter may cause irreparable damage to the luminaire.
  • First charge must be a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Do full charges so as not to shorten the life of the battery. The battery is full when the red indicator light stops flashing.
  • Clean carefully with a dampened soft cloth, adding a little soap only if necessary. Do not use any cleaning materials containing harsh chemicals.
  • Treat your Bellboy like regular lighting and store it indoors when it rains or is not used.
  • Do not store in winter in an unheated space. During the off-season, or if you are not using your light for an extended period of time, do a recharge every three months to keep the battery active.
  • Lost charging cable? Please note that we do not sell them. Why not? Because we have enough cables and chargers at home. You surely have one that fits our product. The charger must be an Adapter max. 5 Volts 2 Amp.

    How to clean the Bellboy?

    To clean the Bellboy, use a soft cloth, preferably dry or, if needed, moistened with lukewarm water and mild liquid soap. Please be gentle to avoid any scratching. Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive substances. Never open the Bellboy when cleaning.

    My Bellboy lamp has fallen, what should I do?

    When the lampshade has fallen off your Bellboy: Please put the shade back on by turning it clockwise untill you hear a 'Click'.

    A ratteling sound is coming from the inside of the Bellboy's lampshade: Great impact might have caused the batteries to get disconnected from the batteryseat. Please remove the shade by rotating it counter clockwise and take it off. The powerboard contains two battery covers. Please check if those are still in position, just like the batteries. And put them back into position if needed. Please pay attention putting them back in the correct order, matching the +/- on the battery with the +/- on the powerboard. Please put the battery covers and the shade back into position afterwards. After a battery has been re-installed a quick 'RESET' action is required. To do so please shortly connect the charger and get it powered for about 10 sec. The lamp should be completely opperational again.

    How long does my Bellboy stay on?

    A fully charged Bellboy lamp remains lit for more than 3 hours (at 100% brightness) and up to 9 hours (at lowest brightness settings). Please make sure you use a 5V 2amp adapter to charge Bellboy.

    How to turn Bellboy on/off?

    You can turn the Bellboy on/off with a touch switch on top of the shade, by tapping this small bump the light will turn on, tapping it a second time the light will turn off.

    How does the dimming of the Bellboy work?

    Bellboy contains a stepless dimmer. The button on top of the lampshade contains a touch switch. By Gently touching it the lamp can be turned on/off and the brightness can be regulated as well by press/holding the switch. The brightness will start looping up and down and will fix into position once the switch is released.

    What kind of charger should I use for my Bellboy?

    We recommend to use a 5V 2amp charger for your Bellboy to guarantee the most efficient charging procedure and to extend the lifecycle of the batteries.

    Can I keep my Bellboy connected to the power at all times?

    It is possible to keep your Bellboy connected to the power at all times, although it is recommended to discharge the battery every now and then.

    A green light is blinking when I try to operate my Bellboy?

    The green blinking when trying to operate your Bellboy might indicate that the battery has been disconnected, please try to reset Bellboy by connecting it to the charger for about 10 second.
